Honoring victims of gun violence in Allegheny County.

From St Brendan’s Episcopal Church of Sewickley on July 17, they came together as one community of faith to remember those lost to gun violence. They also united to support stronger gun laws and to urge elected officials to take action so that not one more life is lost.

There is also a slide presentation St Brendan’s created to provided a deeper dive. In this is a visual and sobering event, they invited attendees to walk among t-shirts inscribed with names, and ages/dates of death. The t-shirts was displayed at St. Brendan’s for two weeks, and then travel to other churches.

On Sunday August 21, 2022 St James Episcopal Church of Penn Hills is among one of the churches to display this poignant and moving display. You are invited to join in, tour this display and participate in request for necessary change.
